Major developments:

USD is now at 71.74. Rupee opened at 71.81 . Expect 71.65-71.90 range for the day. 

SC has allowed Arcelor’s acquisition of ESSAR Steel as per acquirer’s resolution of Oct 2018 and upheld right of committee of creditor’s decision on claim distribution. Rupee gained, expecting inflows. Telco majors Vodafone and Bharti

reported huge losses due to provision of liability as per SC order. Indian WPI inflation declined further.

-USDINR is at 71.74. Y’day’s close was 71.97.

-Indian Equity indices climb marginally.

-Indian 10 year G-SEC yield is at 6.52%.

-USDINR 1 yr fwd premia is at 3.85%.
