June Euro/INR closed at 83.65, GBP/INR at 93.11 and Yen/INR at 70.45.
FII’S have nett bought Rs 6316 Cr of Indian Equities in May . FII’S have nett sold Rs 17610 Cr of Indian debt securities in May. In FY 19-20, FII’s have sold Rs 10200 Cr of Equities and 47393 cr of debt.

Economic news: US GDP(second estimate) contracted -5.0% annualized in Q1, worse than first estimate of-4.8% annualized. Indian last Quarter GDP awaited. Focus is also on US repsonse to Chinese actions in Hong Kong.
Data highlights : US weekly jobless claims was higher at 2.12 mn, durables order declined -17.2% m/m and pending home sales declined -21.8% m/m.
