USDINR opened at 82.89 y’day and the pair traded in the 82.86-82.90 range. Spot USDINR closed at 82.87, loss of 6 ps for USD as against prior close of 82.93.
RBI reference rate was fixed at 82.88 on 26/02. Feb USD/INR closed at 82.89, loss of 4 ps for USD as compared to prior day’s close of 82.93. Feb Euro/INR closed at 90.07, GBP/INR at 105.17 and Yen/INR at 55.09. 1 year USDINR fwd premia was trading at around 1.74% p.a. FX reserves stood at USD 616 bn, as on Feb 16 th.
